Mike and I went to Ikea. We didn’t buy anything, but curiosity got the better of us. We ordered a plate of 10 meatballs to share to see what the hype is all about. They’re… a’ight and the gravy was stringy – weird. The potato medallions were tasty though!

The potato medallions looks delicious … yummy. Do you know the recipe for these potatoes?

Hey! No, sorry I don’t know the recipe! I was thinking about trying to make them myself actually. And besides potato, the other key ingredients I picked out were brocoli, cheese and butter – seasoned to taste. Maybe give it a try?

We tried them once….meh. Fortunately, the Ikea in Chengdu has some good Sichuan Style options that actually are pretty good. Way better than the other options.

Thank you for dropping by and commenting Sylvia!
I agree, they were meh. I would’ve loved to see some Sichuan style options on our menu! But alas… there are french fries and fish instead
