Visiting Rockhampton Zoo

If you have a few hours to spare in Rockhampton, definitely check out the Rockhampton Zoo!

A completely free attraction within the Botanic Gardens that offers an opportunity to relax in nature and see over 50 species of animals native to Australia.

Not all exhibits were open and some enclosures were not in use. We imagine due to ongoing renovations from cyclone damages earlier this year.

Nevertheless, an enjoyable time walking around and meeting all the animals!
